soucha

Soucha is the first niyama (DO’S VAN YOGA) and it means purity and cleaniness. Through purity we can go beyond our body. It is important to keep our surroundings-home clean, body clean from inside and outside. Also the mind should be as pure as possible. Not collecting too many of wrong impressions through media. If something is not clean, it asks for attention and you are stuck, so you can not move on. Afterall you can also relax better in a clean environment.

ADVICE TO ALL PRACTISIONERS BY DAVID WILLIAMS

ADVICE TO ALL PRACTISIONERS BY DAVID WILLIAMS
First, and foremost, I hope you can learn from me that in your practice, “If it hurts, you are doing it wrong.” Through the years, I have observed that too many people are hurting themselves and hurting others. Yoga practice can be (and should be) pleasant from the beginning to the end. What is important is the mula bandha and deep breathing. With daily practice, it is inevitable that one will become more flexible. Info: www.ashtangayogi.com
